Day 1 - Overnight in Athens - D - Electra Rhythm Athens Hotel

After your overnight flight to Athens you will be met at the airport and transferred to our conveniently-located hotel, with rooftop views of the Acropolis, where your Two Dog Travel tour director will be waiting to greet you. If you arrive early in the day, your room may not be ready but the hotel will be happy to store your luggage. Your tour leader will be available to make suggestions on things to do and help get you acquainted with the area. We will all meet in the afternoon and join our local archaeologist/guide for a short walking tour of Athens. Our tour will end at a local restaurant where we will enjoy a welcome dinner, toast to our upcoming Greek adventure and marvel at our incredible view of the Acropolis.

Day 2 - Overnight on Santorini - B

After breakfast, checking out and storing our bags, we'll enjoy a tour of the crowning glory of Athens, the Acropolis. We'll visit this ancient site and learn of its history and amazing architecture. After the tour, you'll have some free time to grab lunch before we are transferred to the airport for your flight to Santorini. After arriving on Santorini and checking into our hotel, you'll have the evening free to spend as you'd like. 

Day 3 - Overnight on Santorini - B, L

Today will begin with a tour when we meet our driver/guide and head out to explore the beautiful island of Santorini. We'll visit the Prophet Ellias Monastery with its beautiful view over the island, Art Space winery - my favorite winery on Santorini, enjoy lunch by the sea and end in the traditional village of Megalochori. After our tour, you'll have the rest of the day free to spend as you'd like. 

Day 4 - Overnight on Santorini - B, D

Today you'll have the morning free to enjoy the pool, do some shopping or relax on your terrace.  The afternoon and evening will be spend on our private sail boat as we enjoy Santorini's views from the water. You'll be awed by the beauty of its amazing caldera. We'[l stop for time to swim and enjoy dinner on the boat. Our day will end while watching the sunset from the water.  It's sure to be a highlight of our time in Greece. 

Day 5 - Overnight on Santorini - B, D

For those who are interested, we'll make an early start to hike the gorgeous path between Oia and Fira, stopping along the way for those views. After arriving into Fira, you'll have free time to spend as you'd like. You can either grab the public bus or a taxi to take you back to Oia. In the evening we'll meet back up as a group and enjoy a sunset dinner. 

Day 6 - Overnight in Milos - B, L - Tania Boutique Hotel

After breakfast, we will check out of our hotel, we'll enjoy another tour of the island. We'll visit the ancient site of Akrotiri (some say it's the lost city of Atlantis), visit the village of Emborio with its ancient castle now turned residential. We'll stop for lunch at a seaside taverna before boarding our ferry to Milos. After checking into our hotel, you'll have the evening free to spend as you'd like. 

Day 7 - Overnight in Milos - B, L (light snack) - Tania Boutique Hotel

Today we enjoy the water on kayaks. After breakfast we will head out for a half day kayaking excursion around Milos where we will have a stop for snorkeling and swimming and enjoy light snacks on the beach. You will be astounded by the incredible geography and the crystal clear water as we enjoy this day. After some free time at the hotel, we'll meet back up to visit the quaint fishing village of Klima with its colorful houses. Next we'll be transferred to Plaka, the oldest and highest town on Milos. Here you'll have free time to explore the town, perhaps walk up to the castle for the wonderful sunset view and enjoy dinner on your own in one of the many tavernas in town. 

Day 8 - Overnight in Milos - B - Tania Boutique Hotel

Today is a hiking and beach day! Grab your swimsuit and walking shoes as we set out to explore the amazing beaches of Milos. We'll first visit Papafragas beach, with its unique rock formations and caves. We'll then walk the rocks and shoreline to Sarakiniko beach, and its white moonlike landscape. Our drive will then take us to Paliochori beach and its pastel colored cliffs. Here we'll stop for free time where you can grab lunch and relax on the beach. After our full day exploring Milos, you'll have the evening free to do as you'd like. 

Day 9 - Overnight in Milos - B, L - Tania Boutique Hotel

Today we live like royalty as we board our private sailing boat and enjoy a leisurely day on the water. We'll sail around the island stopping to swim in an area with some of the clearest bluest water you've ever seen. We'll then sail by some of the famous caves along the coast. We'll have the chance to enter some of these caves by dinghy and also swim among these amazing rock formations. We'll be served drinks and snacks on board before enjoying a feast of a lunch prepared for us right on board. It will be the perfect way to spend our last full day on the beautiful island of Milos.

Day 10 - Overnight in Athens - B, D - Electra Rhythm Athens Hotel

After breakfast, and checking out of the hotel we'll enjoy a tour of some of the sites of Milos. We'll visit the ancient theatre and the Roman Catacombs. You'll have some time to grab lunch in the port town before catching our flight back to Athens. After checking into our hotel, you'll have some free time for last minute shopping before meeting back up for our farewell dinner. 

Day 11 - After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight home.
